Description
Vertical rectangular linen sampler with various colors of silk floss; top half has the Ten Commandments in two columns bordered to resemble the Biblical tablets, bottom half depicts a male and female in eighteenth-century dress under an oak tree near a house, inscription with designs on either side across the bottom, straight inner border all around surrounded with geometric floral motif; petit point, cross and satin stitches.
