Khaki-colored cotton summer service uniform shirt; double collar; shoulder loops which button at the collar end; 7 buttons down the front; open sleeves with false cuffs, 2 buttons at each wrist, aviation shoulder patch with golden wings and white star with red circle at the center against blue ground.

This shirt is part of a summer service uniform worn by Paul H. Downing during World War II. Downing served as Lieutenant Colonel in the Air Corps, as commanding officer of the Rochester (New York) Materiel Command.
