Aluminum struck medal with obverse showing nude male bust within central roundel, facing left, with surrounding legend: "TRASLACION DE LA ESTATUA DEL LIBERTADOR - NUEVA YORK - XIX - IV - MCMLI -". Reverse depicts map of the American continent within scrolling band at center; with legend around line border: "BOLIVAR - UNA SOLA DEBE SER LA PATRIA DE TODOS LOS AMERICANOS - ". Medal is inset into square dark blue cloth-covered fitted wooden case with white silk satin and dark blue silk velvet interior; with aluminum coat of arms of Venezuela attached at center of case cover.
