Description: 
Silver spectacles with quadrangular lenses connected by "C" bridge; adjustable temples with loop-to-loop sliders and small elongated loops at ends. Two-piece rectangular brass case with rounded ends; top slides off; embossed band below top.

The donor of these spectacles claimed that they once belonged to Abraham Lincoln. The donor received them in the vicinity of Rutherforton, North Carolina, from one of the local people who said Lincoln wore them.
