Description: 
Pine Federal tall case clock painted to resemble mahogany veneered case with inlaid stringing; hood has broken scroll pediment and arched glass door; clock has black painted numbers and pink and green floral sprays in spandrels; waist has door with incurving triangular top; square base.

According to the accession records, this clock belonged to Peter E. Bronck, the grandfather of the donor, and a decendant of the Jonas Bronck family, after whom the Bronx is named.
