Locking pewter oval tea caddy of sheet metal with reed and fluted sides; bright cut band decoration along top and bottom; central panel has been engraved with a shield surrounded by swags of drapery; it retains its original scallop shaped spoon.

This tea caddy belonged to John Ramage. It was probably made by the pewterer I. Vickers in Sheffield, England.
