Description: 
Tin-glazed earthenware tile with painted blue and white decoration; buff-colored body with white glaze; circular rondel with landscape scene with figure on hordeback; ox-head corner motifs (tile same as Z.773u and v); tile broken and restored with lower half made of infill.

These tiles are from a fireplace in the Judge Joseph I. Jackson House at the corner of Jackson Ave. and Main St., Fishkill, NY. The house, which at one time was called the "Colonial Inn," was still standing in 1953.
