Description: 
Wooden trace for harnessing horses to carriage or sleigh; composed of two parallel wooden members which curve upwards at the back and are joined by a crosspiece where the curve begins; swingletree attached to crossbar shaft. Bands of leather at two places along traces; remnants of old yellow paint.
