A gold-colored metal serving tray with a black border and a print of the 1964 World's Fair "Unisphere" in the center of the front marked "New York World's Fair 1964-65". The back reads in black on gold "Unisphere/ Presented By United States Steel/ As Seen From The Plaza Of The Astronauts With The Heroic Statue Of The 'Rocket Thrower' in the Foreground/ This Beautiful Unisphere is the Symbol of the 1964-1965 New York World's Fair, and is dedicated to man's aspirations toward 'Peace Through Understanding' and symbolizes his achievements in an expanding universe. It is the largest representation of our planet ever attempted-140 feet (thirteen stories) high, 1,000,000 lbs. of Shining Stainless Steel, the open grids representing the latitudes and longitudes supporting the land masses of the World- all dramatically set in a 310 foot reflecting pool."
