Description: 
Dark blue wool trousers of Grand Army of the Republic uniform with light blue piping down the side of each leg; 4 button fly, top button fastens on the interior, there is a tab to the left at the top which fastens to a button on the waistband; 6 buttons around the waistband, right side watch pocket beneath the waistband, vertical slit pockets behind each stripe; right rear pocket, 2 straps beneath the waistband which buckle at the center to rectangular metal buckle with double-tongued chape; all buttons plain metal, unmarked; waist area lined with white cotton with blue and gray pin stripes, pockets and fly lined with white cotton.
