Description: 
White cotton duck trousers; 7 belt loops around the waistband, 6 button fly with fabric tab to the left at the top which fastens to a button on the inside, horizontal slit pocket at the right beneath the waistband, horizontal slit pockets at each hip front and back; waist lined with white silk, pockets lined with white cotton.
Gallery Label: 
These trousers were worn by George A. Zabriskie. During World War I he served as adviser to the government on the commodities of flour and sugar and served as the president of the U.S. Sugar Association. He was elected president of the Society in 1939.
