Description: 
White cotton twill-weave wide-legged trousers; 6 button fly; 5 buttons around the waistband; horizontal slit right side watch pocket beneath waistband, vertical slit pockets at the side seams, horizontal pockets at the rear with flaps which button closed; waistband and pockets lined with white cotton.

These trousers are part of a uniform worn by Abel I. Smith, Jr., when he served in the Navy during World War II. According to the accession records, he was a lieutenant.
