Gilt bronze struck medal with obverse showing American eagle atop shield with crossed helmet and sword; legend: "WEST POINT/DUTY HONOR COUNTRY"; inscription on scroll: "DUTY/HONOR/COUNTRY/WEST POINT/MDCCCII/USM." Reverse shows sword against burning torch crowned with laurel wreath with legend: "UNITED STATES MILITARY ACADEMY/SESQUICENTENNIAL" and inscription: "1802/1952." Cream cloth-bound cardboard case.
