Floriform blown glass vase of amber iridescent glass with applied pale green tooled glass simulating leaves; irregular triangular opening with swelled upper section tapering to foot; circular domed applied foot with rim folded under; pontil mark.

Louis Comfort Tiffany's furnaces in Corona, New York produced a variety of naturalistic forms in favrile glass. Floriform vases such as this one were produced in large numbers by Tiffany's glassblowers in Queens and sold in his elaborate Madison Avenue showroom.
