Twisted grapevine cane with tapered shaft and brass ferrule; engraved with three bands.
Gallery Label: 
According to accession records, this cane originally had a silver cap engraved with the inscription, "Presented to John Palmer Cox, M.D., By his Intimate Friend Mr. Frank Livingston." The cap was lost before the cane was given to the New-York Historical Society.
