Description 
Engraved scrimshaw Sperm whale's tooth; engraved with black ink on the obverse with a scene of two frigates, one with sails half deployed and fly two American flags, the second has been severely damaged; it's amsts and sails lay in the sea; engraved on the reverse are two frigates meeting; one has all of its sailors out on the rigging.
