In December 2016, our fourth floor will be transformed into a new destination for historical education and innovation. During the current renovation, objects from our permanent collection are on view throughout the Museum.
Charles Malcolm Wilson (1914-2000), a Republican, became Governor of New York State in 1973 when Nelson Rockefeller resigned. In 1974 Wilson ran for Governor with Ralph Caso of Nassau County as his running mate. They were defeated by Hugh Carey, Democrat.
