Rectangular, sawn fragment of wood with inscribed paper label affixed to one side.
Gallery Label: 
A note found with the object dating from 1955 states that this fragment of the George Fox Oak had been in the posession of the Haviland family of Chappaqua for 55 years. George Fox was a Quaker preacher who preached beneath this tree in Flushing, Queens.
