Cotton copper-engraved kerchief memorializing the victories of the War of 1812; central vignettes of the Battle of Lake Erie and Champlain surrounded by six vignettes of other naval battles, the signing of the peace at Ghent, portraits of MacDonough and Perry, and two American bald eagle armorials; laurel leaf background; printed in turkey red on a white ground; decorative border.
