Description 
Three silver table forks with upturned wavy handles and scrolled thread and foliate decoration, engraved, "M L H" in script; scrolled shoulders, four tines and long threaded drops; b engraved, "JDGH" in script on the underside of the handle; c engraved, "Adelaide" in script on the underside of the handle; makers' marks stamped on the underside of the stems.

The initials "M L H" possibly refers to Marianna Hawley, sister to Elizabeth King Hawley (1833-1926), who was the donor's mother. The engraving "Adelaide" refers to Adelaide Milton de Groot (1876-1967).
