Description
Walnut Queen Anne roundabout or corner chair; back has scrolled crest rail, serpentine arms with flat round ends, turned columnar stiles, and solid vase-shaped splats; quadrant, or semi-circular, seat with upholstered slip seat and deep rails; three cabriole front legs with slipper feet and one turned rear leg.

Chairs of this form were often designed as commode chairs. According to the accession records, the slip seat is a modern replacment. The feet have also been repaired.
