Description
Handmade, probably Point Ground, linen bobbin lace bonnet with a net ground and cordonnet floral and sprig design; constructed from three lace strips, the back panel being horseshoe shaped, and the body of the bonnet consisting of two bands of lace extend over head from ear to ear; the edges around both face and at neckline are plain woven and hemmed with running and whip stitches, and encase cotton drawstrings tying and cinching at CB and under chin.
