Reproduction seventeenth century Spanish woman's dress, guardinfante (costume); narrow fitted flap front bodice of black and gold synthetic textile brocade in in two geometric patterns; low square neckline trimmed with metallic machine made lace; long puffed and padded slashed sleeves with gold synthetic material in the slashes, large pleated ruffled cuffs over a small gold fabric cuff with metallic trim; jacket flap is decorated with a rose colored satin circle with rhinestones and metallic foil fringe; bodice has a long wide basque that extends over the top of the skirt; wide oval wired guardinfante skirt attached to a black sleeveless undergarment at the top to hold it up; gold and black synthetic brocade textile skirt padded and pleated along the wire; decorated around base with four rows of metallic lace trim.
