Elaborate badge consisting of plastic medallion with photographic portrait of William Chanler in ornate gilt metal frame suspended by chains from rectangular plastic tab with ornate gilt metal frame, inscribed "Hon. President"; woven white silk ribbon suspended fom tab; imprinted in gold on ribbon: "Wm ASTOR CHANLER/DEMOCRATIC ASS'N/5TH ASSEMBLY Dist."; gilt metallic bullion fringe attached to bottom edge of ribbon.
