Badge with top pin printed in blue on coated paper "S.N.Y.V.F.A." inside scalloped-edge rectangular brass frame; blue silk ribbon attached to pin printed in gold "SOUTHERN/ NEW YORK/ VOLUNTEER/ FIREMEN'S/ ASSOC'N/ AUG. 14-19,/ 1911." Bottom circular badge with emblem of intertwined letters "N/ Y/ S" printed in red, white and blue on coated paper surrounded by brass frame.
