Queen Anne high chest of drawers in two parts; upper case has a flat top with cornice molding and five graduated drawers; lower case has one long drawer over three drawers in line (two square-fronted drawers flanking a rectangular center drawer) with a cyma-curved front skirt, ogee-curved side skirts and cabriole legs with pad feet; possibly original brass hardware.

According to tradition, this high chest is made from wood from the orchard of General Israel Putnam (1718-1790) in Brooklyn, CT.
