Octagonal brass die-struck medal with obverse depicting clothed bust of Grover Cleveland facing left; reverse depicts a bandanna with date "1888"; legend: "CLEVELAND & THURMAN". Red silk ribbon drawn through hole punched at top center.

Grover Cleveland ran for the presidency in 1884, 1888 and 1892. He won in 1884 and 1892 but lost in 1888 to Benjamin Harrison.
