Description
White cotton stuffed quilt with bouquet within feather wreath at center, surrounded by a series of frames, the innermost with fruit and flower motifs, the next an undulating feather line, and the outermost roughly rectangular; pinwheel motif in each corner and feather border surrounding edge.

According to the accession records, this quilt was made by Rachel Smith as a wedding present for her great-niece Isabel C. Eagle, who married Fitch W. Smith in 1859. Isabel Eagle and Fitch Smith were the parents of the donor.
