Description
Engraved oval sheet metal plaque commemorating presidential nomination of Ulysses S. Grant in 1872; with gold painted, hollow cast metal profile busts of George Washington and Abraham Lincoln mounted on black velvet in two small oval windows in upper half of plaque and similar busts of Grant and his running mate, Henry Wilson, in two larger oval windows in lower half of plaque; cardboard backing.
