Aluminum struck medal with obverse showing nude bust of George Washington facing right with legend: "GEORGE WASHINGTON." Reverse bears inscription within oak wreath: "CENTENNIAL/CELEBRATION/OF THE/INAUGURATION/OF/GEORGE WASHINGTON/FIRST PRESIDENT/OF THE/UNITED STATES/APRIL 30, 1789."
