Bronze struck medal with obverse showing two oval medallions containing bust-length portraits of Benjamin Harrison, facing right, at left, and Levi Morton, facing left, at right; with scroll between them inscribed: "HARRISON AND MORTON"; shield with stars and stripes above; date below: "1889." Reverse depicts the Capitol building with legend: "INAUGURATED/MARCH 4 1889."
