Brass die-struck medal with obverse depicting clothed bust of Abraham Lincoln facing right, surrounded by legend:"ABM; LINCOLN, REP. CANDIDATE FOR PRESIDENT/1860"; reverse contains inscription "FREE/HOME/FOR/FREE/MEN" at center, surrounded by laurel wreath and outside border of stars; legend: "PROTECTION TO AMERICAN INDUSTRY"; hole punched at top center.
