Description
Doll with glazed porcelain shoulder head, black hair molded in braided and coiled bun, blue painted eyes, closed mouth, and red tinted cheeks; stuffed cloth body with divided arm, hands with separate thumbs, divided leg, and cloth shoes with bows; blue and white striped bonnet decorated with ribbon and lace, black net gloves, blue dress with black lace decoration over cream-colored embroidered petticoats and knickers, with black stockings. Glass dome and wooden base for displaying doll.

According to the accession records, this doll was "dressed by [Jenny Lind] from scraps from her wardrobe for the small daughter of a friend." The doll was purchased from Mrs. Eva Leete of Guilford, CT, in 1925.
