Description
Olive green, non-lead, blown glass bottle; bottle blown in a dip mold and has a bulging, cylindrical neck with an applied rounded string rim, rounded shoulders, and a cylindrical, straight-sided body with a conical push-up and a pontil mark.

According to the accession records, this bottle was found along the Conces (?) Trail in Panama, and is typical of the bottles used by American pioneers on their way to California in 1849.
