Description 
Colorless pressed lead glass cup plate; circular form with scalloped edge; narrow curved rim and flat circular well; in well, American eagle with shield on breast, with wings spread and head raised to left, with border of cross-hatched concentric rings interrupted by stars, sprigs to each side of date "1831"; on interior rim are pattern of medallions, fleur-de-lis, and leaves, with cross-hatched background; also on interior rim, sprigs along edge of well, and below date; date changed to 1832 by the addition of a diagonal line at the base of the "1" (Lee-Rose 662).
