Description
Colorless glass machine-made figured flask with metal screw cap, ovoid body with bust of George Washington with inscription "1732 GEORGE WASHINGTON 1932" on obverse and American eagle with twelve stars on reverse.

Gallery Label
This flask was produced to commemorate the two hundredth anniversary of Washington's birth. According to accession records, it was a container for prune juice at the A&P Grocery store. The "7" on the base indicates manufacture at the Alton plant of the Owens-Illinois Glass Company, and the "2" represents the date 1932.
