Doll with wax over composition head, holes for eyes, closed mouth, and pink tinted cheeks; composition body with divided arm composed of stuffed cloth upper arm and composition over wood lower arm, and molded hand, divided leg composed of stuffed cloth upper leg and composition over wood lower leg; cap with lace tied around neck, green shift under sheer overdress with lace trim buttoned up back and with green sash over petticoats and knickers with lace trim; stockings and brown leather shoes with strap buttoned around ankle.

According to accession records, this doll was brought from London by Mr. Berrill for his granddaughter Mary M. Berrill (b. 1855), later Mrs. Frederick Beverly Cossitt, mother of the donor. Even though the doll was purchased in England, the parts may been made in Germany.
