Using its trademarked "favrile" glass, Tiffany Studios produced a variety of naturalistic glass vessels. Though broken and repaired, this bowl retains its original label and is marked and numbered by Tiffany Studios. The number "1925" engraved on the base is most likely a factory number and not a date.
