The E.C. Flaccus Company, run by Edward C. Flaccus, began around 1898 when Edward split off from the family grocery business, G.C. Flaccus & Son. The Flaccus firm did not actually manufacture glass -- it is possible that objects with the E.C. Flaccus mark were actually made by the C.L. Flaccus Glass Co. in Tarentum, Pennsylvania.
