Description
Blue with iridescent patina glass bottle blown in a two part-mold with separate base plate; broken above down sloped shoulder; cylindrical body with inscriptions "ALBANY GLASS WORKS / D / NEW YORK" on obverse and "J. & A. DEARBORN N.Y." on reverse; rounded heel and domed basal profile.

According to the accession records, this bottle was found by Joseph Rapport and Richard Koke of the New-York Historical Society in Battery Park in 1949 in the excavations for Brooklyn-Battery Tunnel and Battery Park Underpass.
