Description
Colorless cut lead glass celery glass or vase; eight-sided cylindrical form; upper portion has incurving sides and scalloped rim; rays cut in bottom.

The accession record states that this celery glass was said to have been made at the factory of Albert Gallatin, an ancestor of the donor, at New Geneva, PA, but that according to Helen McKearin, this type was not made at that factory and most likely came from one of the Pittsburgh factories and was presented to Gallatin.
