Tin-glazed earthenware tile with painted blue and white decoration; buff-colored body with white glaze; circular rondel with landscape scene with corner of portico on bank of river with sail boats in distance; ox-head corner motifs (tile same as Z.773g and h).

These tiles are from a fireplace in the Judge Joseph I. Jackson House at the corner of Jackson Ave. and Main St., Fishkill, NY. The house, which at one time was called the "Colonial Inn," was still standing in 1953.
