Tin-glazed earthenware tile with painted blue and white decoration; buff-colored body with white glaze; circular rondel with landscape scene with man with staff leading a cow with a "V" of birds in the sky; ox-head corner motifs (tile same as Z.773i).

These tiles are from a fireplace in the Judge Joseph I. Jackson House at the corner of Jackson Ave. and Main St., Fishkill, NY. The house, which at one time was called the "Colonial Inn," was still standing in 1953.
