Description 
Tin-glazed earthenware tile with painted blue and white decoration; buff-colored body with white glaze; circular rondel with landscape scene with man chopping wood; ox-head corner motifs (tile same as Z.773n and o); tile broken and restored with patches of infill.

These tiles are from a fireplace in the Judge Joseph I. Jackson House at the corner of Jackson Ave. and Main St., Fishkill, NY. The house, which at one time was called the "Colonial Inn," was still standing in 1953.
