Description
Mahogany Louis XVI console table; rectangular form with rounded front corners and white marble top surrounded by a pierced brass gallery; center drawer flanked by a false drawer on either side, all similarly decorated with applied brass beading and brass keyhole hardware; four colonettes with swollen fluted and stop-fluted shafts descend from blocks with rectangular panels of applied sheet brass and join lower marble shelf, which is also surrounded by pierced brass gallery, to upper case; the whole supported on tapering, fluted legs with brass cuffs and sabots.
