Oak box decorated with wrought iron bands with quatrefoils alternating with plain iron strips; till with lift top inside box on left side; wrought iron hinges, lock, key from Henry Hudson's possessive, and handle.

This box was exhibited in the captain's cabin of the replica of Henry Hudson's Half Moon, which was constructed in 1909 by the Dutch Government and presented to the State of New York for use in the Hudson-Fulton celebration.
