Rectangular wooden box with domed, hinged lid, round mounts and wire handles on each side, and metal hooks to fasten box to lid; lid printed with street scene on present-day Park Place in lower Manhattan, with St. Paul's Church at upper left corner, and with vehicles including an omnibus, landaus, trolley, and a horse and dray, and pedestrians, in brown, blue, orange, and darker yellow on pale yellow ground, with green scalloped border; box painted yellow with edges painted with green scalloped border; inside of box covered with marbleized paper in shades of brown and green.
