Description
Cotton copper-engraved souvenir kerchief from the 1876 Centennial Exposition in Philadelphia, PA; central oval medallion is an image of the Main Building overlapped by two smaller oval medallions with images of the Art Gallery and the Horticultural Building; Greek key border with portraits of George Washington and Ulysses S. Grant garlanded in the upper corners; garlanded seals commemorating the birth of the nation and congresses act to hold the exhibition; printed in black on a white ground.
