Cotton copper-engraved kerchief with a central garlanded mourning scene with two weeping women in front of a monument to Alexander Hamilton, beneath a portrait of Hamilton; garlands and banners drape the edges; on either side of the central image are unfurled scrolls with cupids hanging onto the sides; in lower corners are images of a Native American with a flag and a woman seated beneath a tree; printed in sepia on a white ground; decorative border.
