Cotton printed textile fragment commemorating Charles Lindbergh's trans-Atlantic flight from New York to Paris in 1927; portrait of Lindbergh in a winged-garland with a cat; winged medallions of plane leaving New York in daylight, arriving in Paris in darkness, image of a plane over a globe, plane over the coast of California, and the Spirit of St. Louis; printed in green ink on an off-white ground.
